Psychic Detective Yakumo

Plot Summary

In order to help a friend possessed by a spirit, Ozawa Haruka knocks on the door of her university’s movie research association. There she meets Saitou Yakumo, a rude, unkempt young man with a red left eye, who is said to have spiritual powers. At first Haruka is skeptical, but she comes to believe him when he conveys messages from her older sister, who died when she was a child. Together, they work to shed light on the terrifying events happening at their university. But this is only the prologue of what’s to come…

Plot Summary

Hatanaka Ikko, a 16 year old boy, is a first year trainee at the Saienji Buddhist Temple. He was sent there by his parents to be trained by his grandmother, the Saienji Priestess. At the temple he finds himself surrounded by beautiful female priestesses-in-training. Upon seeing a girl naked, Ikko has the ability to turn into a super-monk, performing massive exorcisms for the good of the temple.

Occult Academy

Plot Summary

Maya Kumashiro returns to the Waldstein Academy to attend the funeral of the principal, Junichiro Kumashiro, her father. The institute focuses its’ studies on paranormal subjects, thus becoming known as the Occult Academy. Maya, a skeptic who hates the occult, meets with Fumiaki Uchida, a time agent from the future sent to 1999 to prevent the apocalyptic Nostradamus Prophecies from happening. They must team up to discover not only what actually led to her father’s demise, they have limited time to find out what is the key that triggers the beginning of the end.
