Plot Summary
Yui Hirasawa is one amongst the hundreds of young people starting their first year of highschool. She immediately throws herself into finding a club that she can join – eager to meet new people and find some friends. She eventually stumbles upon confident drummer Ritsu Tainaka, and her best friend, shy but talented bassist Mio Akiyama, who are attempting to resurrect the school’s Light Music Club; disbanded after the members graduated the year before.
The two have already managed to recruit happy go lucky Tsumugi Kotobuki, who turned her piano playing abilities to the keyboard, and only one more member is needed for the club to become official once again. In comes Yui, castanets at the ready – but the other three girls have much different plans for their new group member, and convince her to pick up the electric guitar and start strumming.
Will the group of girls live up to the expectations of their peers and pick up the mantle of the original Light Music Club? Or will the temptation of relaxed tea and cake sessions thwart their plans of success? - by Fizzeh
